Go with evga. They offer a true lifetime warranty which covers oc'ing & third party coolers. They also offer a step-up program. If you decide you want the 7800gs, you just pay the difference & send in your old card, they send you new one. Awesome deal.

You'd certainly be best off with a 6800GS, it's one of the best bang-for-buck performers out there, not to mention the fact they overclock like a dream - you can even pass GT speeds if you unlock the redundant pipelines, saving you a good deal of cash over a 6800GT. I've heard good things about eVGA in particular, so I'd go with one of their models. Just...for the love of god...stay away from 9800s. They blow chunks. ;)

6800 GS or if you find it, an x800gto (agp)

Both are excellent cards, similar price and performance
