OK, so here I am again, totally clueless. A short story to fill you guys in on my current situation; my father recently purchased a brand new PC (with Vista et all), but the Internet connection with his PC seemed kinda messed up. It would load most pages, but for some strange reason (we still don't know what's up) it wouldn't load pages like Google or Wikipedia.
So, my father got some suggestions from collegues and stuff, and we ended up messing up the whole Internet connection in our house (we've a LAN, my sister's and my computer are on the same Router as my father's). I believe he reset the Router, that's what's caused all the trouble.
Anyway, in some strange manner I've 'succesfully' re-connected to the Internet (I wouldn't have been posting here otherwise ;) ), but some things still seem off. (And my father's computer still has some issues)
Now, I'm stuck without - what it seems like - ANY sound coming 'from' Internet at all. Meaning; YouTube videos, Google videos, MySpace - tracks, even games at e.g. Miniclip - there's no sound.
And yes, I my speakers are on; even stranger; when I play my music through WinAmp (so not via the Internet); everything works.
Suggestions would be much appreciated, I have no clue what's wrong (I've downloaded the latest version of Flash Player, as well, if that's any help).
I tawt I taw a puddy tat...

That sounds odd. Does this occur on any browser, have you tried more than one (IE7/Firefox, etc)? Do you have any audio plugins for your browser that may be muted somehow?
I was going to ask if your volume bars/mute buttons were the issue on specific sites like YouTube, but it sounds like it's occurring elsewhere so it's doubtful that's the issue.
If nothing else, perhaps you should completely uninstall/reinstall your web browser. (remember to save your bookmarks somewhere)
I would die without GF

If you're running Vista make sure that the web browser isn't muted in the Volume Mixer program.

Thanks for the replies, first of all. Well, I'm running XP. However; mysteries still happen; things are working again (for now).
After work I tried to play my music with WinAmp, and even that seemed to have given up; I got an error (stupid of me not to write down what kind of error; now I've forgot). Not really knowing what to do I restarted the computer (lol, kinda 'noobish' solution :p ), and well, things seem to be working again.
Seriously, computers seem to be cursed in my house for the last few days, lots of problems.
Anyway thanks for your help, it's appreciated.
