Just wondering but when is nvidia going to come out with their new cards. Iv been thinking of getting another 6800 gt to have dual but not sure.
Why? The current gen and last generation of cards owned. but the new nvida 7xxx series and the new ATi's should be this summer/fall.
just a quick thought. if you have two 6800 gts and since both have 16 pipe lines would they both equal out to 32 pipe lines?
I herd the speed would be about %140 of 1 6800gt. You would have more like 20 pipes... BTW: I am seeing those BFG 6800gt's with a lifetime warrernty no matter what for like $340. Is that a good buy?
Yeah thats a good buy but but i would get a evga. There litlle bit more money but there a better brand. I never had trouble with them.

Even if you kill it because you overclocked the hell out of it? if so then i would say thats a good deal!

yea i agree with Reamn Warbird..nothing more to say :)
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the 6800 series of cards originally sold only in AGP and before SLI became mainstream, then modified later to make use of PCI-E and SLI? That might be the reason for only recieving a 140% increase in performance. The new 7xxx line of cards will most likely be designed from the ground up with PCI-E and SLI in mind, making them more powerful in both areas.
This might not be the right place to ask this, but I was wondering, anyways... Is an ATI x700 PCI-E any good? Because when I was building my computer a couple months ago, I couldn't find any 6800's or x800's. Would it be comparable to nVidia's 6600?
Get a Geforce :D
