I'm too cool to Post

Looks like Nvidia has decided to up the ante against ATI's HD 2600XT's.
64 Shader units, 500MHz core, 1400MHz GDDR3 Memory, BUT it will have a 256 bit data path. Retail price is expected to hit at $179.99
As usual XFX, BFG, and EVGA will most likely have overclocked units. Im expecting a 580MHz core speed and 1600-1700MHz memory speed.
I was set to buy a 8600GTS or a HD 2600XT but now Im thinking I should wait. I think the 256 bit bus is gonna make this puppy scream.

I thought the 8600GTS was the 2600 XT's main oppenent. As the Pro is to the GT. If those speeds you say are true, it should be a really nice budget DX10 card. Also the link isnt working.

That looks like a good card. The extra bandwidth if its 256bit should really help performance. The 2600XT would still be a bit cheaper though, they can be bought right now for only $110 for the GDDR3 version, or $150 for the GDDR4 on Newegg.
I'm looking at getting a HD 2600XT GDDR4 to replace my 7300GT soon.
Revenge was here.

8600GT and GTS was a big disapointment, I hope this Ultra with 256 bits Bus to worth his money

yeah indeed good point arcadeplayer! The 8600 and 8500 were a dissapointment and very bad for gaming, a standard 7800 or 7900 were much better then those. So i think the ultra needs to be uber!
