Is this all compatible with eachother? And which one of those ram sets should I get? Sorry for startin another thread about this, It's just that it'll be my first time upgrading and I really don't wanna mess up. After this, I dont plan on upgradin for a long while. Any help would be great.

I forgot to ask this: Will all these parts even be able to go in my PC? Will it fit? I have a dell dimension 8200 - pretty old stuff. But thanks to everyone who helped me out with all this!:cya: I wasn't really sure what parts I needed to get untill now:nodding: *prepares to throw Geforce3 in the junk box*

Maybe, it depends if the case is big enough!

The processor, vid card and ram will all go with the mobo - unless the vid card is agp.

But what about the case and psu?

Hate to tell you, but you will need a new case if you plan to change the mobo in your dell, dell cases use propreitary motherboards that don't use standard ATX sizing.

Dell also uses propreitary PSU's so that might be a issue.

Other than that, you got a great setup there, you will love the 3700+! :)

Don't worry, you can use everything from your old dell except for the case and power supply.

Ok thats good to know......can you give me some case and power supply details? I've never done any kind of research on them at all, so I'm clueless on what to go for.
