Opening Ports with a D-link Router 624+ I have no Idea how. I've read the guide they give on the website doesn't seem to work. I have so many things imputed into the settings its not funny, all of these are me trying to open crap. It never works. Is there anyone that has a proper guide or that can show me? One example would be to open ports for a Downloader so it opens faster say ports like 3123 and 6747 or 7948-2312. I have no idea how to do this even with the guides I've read.

When your logged on to your routers config pages, click your way into Applications on the left menu, and Advanced on the top menu. Adding the port number and TCP or UDP protocoll should be in there.

Note that this is used to open your firewall, and not port forward, or Virtual Server as your router calls it. The difference is that all traffic on these ports will be allowed to all computers on the network, not routed to a specific computer.
