Overclock on a nforce 750i 20 replies

I just replaced my motherboard from a 680i that was an overclocking board to a mediocore 750i and its not letting me overclock... :confused: I have a E6600 cpu and I want to overclock to atleast 3 GHz is that possible on this board?

What board is it in particular?

3ghz should be easy on a conroe even with a bad board.

Just raise up the cpu volts to 1.36v, ram up to 2.1v, and raise the FSB up to where you want it. Should do it easily.

It dosent give me an option to change the FSB anywhere tho :(

make sure to set "AI tuning" to Manual instead of auto. Then it should open up a big set of additional options in the bios.

This is Core2 Omen, not i7. 2.1v on ram is fine for ddr2
