allright, there's an 'individual' with whom i live with, who has two accounts on the computer. the only problem with that i have is that he spends hours upon hours on the internet, downloading music illegaly, and downloading porn, but with that, he also downloads viruses(one of which destroyed his account-he just made another) and spyware. i changed his accounts to 'limited' accounts.

But now i want see if there's a type of 'parental control' type program, or something of the like, that could set a time limit on how long he can be on the net, maybe 2 hours at a time? and not allow him to download anything.

any help keeping my computer safe would be appreciated.:)

Well if the computer is "YOURS'' then just sit him down and be like hey man, you gotta stop this! If that isn't the route you want to take then NetNanny is a good program so I've heard.
