HI can anyone enlighten me in regards to where I can find a driver for my webcam. I did have it working for some time, about a year & then the dreaded PC crashed.. Lost everything.. Installed all the stuff again & yet i could not find my install disk for my PC cam (Web Cam). I have tried the manufactures website 7 have no reply from them as their driver that I downloaded does not work? Lot of good that is.. Hopefully someone maybe able to help..
Mingjong 6620 (PC CAM) you can check it by going to mingjong through google. Its the first website.TV something.
Hope to hear from someone soon..

If you downloaded the correct driver it should work. Try installing the latest version of DirectX. Maybe you can also install a standard windows-driver if nothing else works.
my dxdiag shows that I have all the latest stuff.
How do you mean a standard windows driver? I have looked for a generic but couldnt find one? can you be more specific?

When you plug in hardware you usually get an installation-popup. Somewhere there you can "chose a driver from a list". Perhaps you are lucky and a different driver works. If you don't get the pop-up you can also install hardware manually from the system-control window (or however this is called in English). Just click "hardware" in that window, it will try to auto-detect new stuff and after that you can try yourself to install drivers.
In case this doesn't help, try some other drivers from the manufacturer's site. Or just install the camera-software from that page and try to use it without those drivers.
Have tried to look through all the manual install features that it gives & not one manufacture that it shows has PC Cam drivers? I tried doing that thinking that I might find mingjong in there & I couldnt find any? Will have a look online & see what kind pc cam drivers are out there & see what happens..
Thanks for help anyway.. most appreciated.
