Are you connected to the net through a nic? If so update your drivers! This error is definetly driver related The Stop 0xD1 message indicates that the system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. Drivers that have used improper addresses cause this error. If you dont use a NIC try removing all expansion cards from your PC & installing them one by to see which one is the prob. Hope this helps ;)

Also this driver u said that could be missing, could it be an xp driver, im only thinking this because when i bought my pc, i had just the tower built to my spec, and he never actually gave me an xp disk, so im not 100% sure its a legit version on my system. I have got a legal xp home disk myself from my old pc, so if u believe that could be the problem i can cover myself by formatting :)

scottrsYou couldn't expand on the terms NIC and Expansion Cards could you, cause i really am a beginner on problems like this

NIC=Network Interface Controller-Basically are you connected to the net through a network (shared internet) Expansion Cards=Anything that plugs into your pc inside, this includes graphics cards, modems or anything that plugs into a slot in ur PC. Also the error is memory related, I wont bother giving you the tech details but try removing a peice or swap them around.

The second bit Its unlikely the driver is missing, its just a driver you need to update once you find out what is causing this error. Formatting wouldnt fix anything because it would just install the same drivers.

So try removing all non-vital expansion cards & memory, then add them one by one to attemt to find the problem
