Hey all, not all that long ago I posted a thread on headphones, you recommended the SENNHEISER HD550's to me. They are currently out of stock with newegg, and they say it will take up to two weeks. They run for $109.99. Rather then those, would the SENNHEISER HD580's be better anyway? For $149.99? Or how bout the SENNHEISER HD280 for $119.99? Thx for the help!:cya:
I'm not sure there is an HD550, try HD555 instead. But FYI, Amazon has the 580s for $130. As for the 280s, Amazon has them for around $80. Both in stock.
Learn to shop around buddy, a minute of your time saves a lot of your money.

Hmm....I meant the HD555's, and ya...I have a shopping around problem...haha, I have always trusted newegg's prices, but now I will watch it if buying headphones or something else besides pure PC hardware again. But you didn' answer my question... What is better, HD555's or HD580's? Of course I am assuming HD555's, but there always are some odd little things everyonce in awhile that would make the higher product number worse...

Do it with PC hardware too. Just because Newegg is generally cheap, doesn't mean to say that other companies won't have special offers on their products from time to time, or even a 'bargain bin' that has what you want in it.
And no, I don't know anything about headphones, sorry. I'm a speaker kinda guy!
