Is that your CPU temp or your mobo/NB temp? PC Probe displays both, i can't remember if its set like that by default though. I haven't used it since i was running my old ASUS AMD board.

Either way 45c (idle i assume) is fine, though a bit warm IMO, assuming your load temps are still decent. Go play a game or something for awhile to let your rig heat up and see what it says.

I'd hope its CPU...my NB idles at 23*C...

My PC Probe shows 27°C for the motherboard at idle for an E8400 Dual Core.

Mine shows my system at 27 and my cpu at 24 with the cores at 13. Water cooling ftw :) At load my cpu will not hit 45, water cooling ftw X2

Christ, my netbook's CPU never goes under 55 Celsius, and my ION graphics are always at 65. These are idle temperatures, mind you. =p

My e5200, 3.2Ghz doesn't go over 32°C load, TRUE with dual fans.

You guys must live in a freezer to have temps that low. 70*C load.. ftw

@ goody. No duh your temps are so low on water. You have an AMD chip that puts out like 10w of heat so its pretty obvious that your extremely low-end water loop would indeed cool your setup. Throw that water loop on an i7 and see how it really cools ;p

Also, the asus pc probe is to not be trusted . if you want to gauge temps use realtemp or hwmonitor

yeah because you have an nvidia chipset which is notorious for being extremely hot.
