Hey all, just wondering, are the PCI-X gfx chip sets worth getting on AGP? or would I be better off upgradeing to pci-x (which I think is more worth, since the gfx cards are also cheeper for pci-x, foolish manufacturers overflooded the market...)?

Get PCI-Express. Every thing soon is going to be only PCI-Express and Nvidia already started that because they don't make AGP no more.

You mean "PCIe" or "PCI Express". PCI-X is a 64-bit variant of PCI, and nobody makes PCI-X video cards anymore AFAIK.

PCIe is cheaper for a deliberate reason: to push the market in that direction. It's also a superior architecture in the end. Thus, any new build you undertake should involve PCIe, unless you're a masochist.
