hey I just got Star Wars Galaxies and just finished Downloading over 12hours of updates to find that my computer had a pixel Shading Problom. I have a Dell with Integrated grapics. So I went to Circuit City and bought a Nvidia 128mb Grapics Card, and when I got home and installed it..It didnt work because my power supply was like 200watts and it needed like 250... So next thing i did was go to the Dell site and try to download a patch or somthing. I downloaded a patch "Intel Extreme Grapics" and it didnt help any. So Now Im at the End of my Rope does any1 have any suggestions plz?

Well Im not really that good with comps but I got like a 2.4ghz Celeron processor. and I cant really replace the powersupply because the its built in with the motherboard. hmm sry but I forgot what Card it was..but it costed like $120. I have already returned the card like a few weeks ago....I dont really wana update my computer that much or id just buy a new one. Was hoping there would be a free solution lol!

Hell if anyne knows what exactly dell has up its sleave but as i have seen, dell will do anything to keep there customers having to come back to them to upgrade there computer, so i wouldnt count out the idea of a built in psu when its dell, 200 watts is really low tho, i doubt its that weak, you could not run any comp these days without atleast 300w. Id say the problem was that you forgot to disable your onboard video before trying the new vis card.

Hey guys I saw this grapics card on ebay. an ATI Radeon 7000 64mb. If my powersupply can handle it I think it would be a good investment. Can you think of any other things I should look for when shopping for grapics cards?

search for somethin more current, a radeon 7000 would not be a good investment, its an old generation, quite ond. look for a radeon 9200, descent performance and not too much at around 100 US, or the 9600 or 9800, look for a redeon in the 9600 series. teh lower the number the lower the cost of course.

I would buy one of those if..my powersupply wasnt so low. and like i said b4 its built into the mother board I think. I was talking to my friend on msn and he told me he had a Radeon 7500 64mb, and that it wasnt that good on swg. He told me he got a new grapics card a VISIONTEK XTASY 9200 SE 128MB and that it was way better and in the same price range. It looks pretty good its got both requirments I need (Pci and 250watt powersupply needed). Im probably gona bid on it on ebay later on today.
