Guys I'm pulling my hair out hear:uhoh: I want to change my fav scope from my weapon sniper skin. I want to put my scope into another sniper weapon skin if that makes more sence? OK I know how to open the PK file i think by just re-nameing it to a zip file! So then I can see what is inside like the Shaders & gfx & models & sounds and stuff. Ok so I change the scope but how to I make it back to a PK file has it was before I opened it up so the game can read it???????? I know it has to be something simple but I can't get my head round it! Any help would be great guys:rolleyes:

Can't you just open the pk3 with something like WinRAR, extract the scope you want to modifiy and then when finished add it to the archieve? It worked for me when I was editing Far Cry...

there is a Far-Cry forum here, if you ask there your more likely to get a more experienced answer.

.Pk3 is also a SOFII format too. I think that's what he's talking about.

IIRC, you have to make sure it shows the extention in windows whenver you save it as a zip. Rename it to what you want, and when you get to the extention, just change .zip to .pk3 .
