i seen on some kids desktop screenshot playing his music through his command prompt... anyone know how you do that? i thought it was pretty cool.
If its Windows then they might be using Mplayer. Mplayer is a Linux Media player that was ported over to Windows side. But if it wasnt Windows then its Linux.
Question- why would you want to do that when you can just as easily play it in windows media player or the likes.

Oh yeah my cusion does that, I think I know hwta your talking about. My cusin put's up window's media, play the music and minimiize it and you can see the little window's media image's moving at the top of the screen while the music played.

sounds interesting... i wonder if it would hinder the sound quality at all. Also how it would work, ie how would you pick tracks and get it to play, volume, etc.
