Hey there everyone! I've been having this small problem with popups. I believe they all come from the same source cause they all start with "Only the Best". I've gotten spybot to remove spyware and the Zonealarm firewall, but they still pop up. If anyone could give me a tip for a free popupblocker thats good it would be greatly appreciated. The worst thing about these popups is the ads themselves, about 7 out of 10 are for popupblockers.
you r going to have to spend money to get some serious results i have a po up blocker that costed me 30$ but it works and block everything!
http://www.panicware.com/ This free one is good and it is easy to activate/deactivate when you need to.
I use the Google toolbar. Some still get through, while others you need (for example, PM notifications on some forums) don't. Which isn't particularly fun. But it's small, you could get it while you're looking for a better one I suppose :clueless:.
that googla tool bar is a piece of crap. my other pop up blocker blocked over 1000 ads and pop ups i have had the toolbar 4 a week and it has only blocked 80 ads
I use the google toolbar and it works great for me. the only pop-ups that come up are from adware and spyware that i can easily take out with ad-aware and spybot.
I agree on panicware, it's worked well.
The opera browser has popup blocking capabilities.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

I use Firefox with a few extensions (Popup count, Adblock, etc). In IE, I use Google, but I've edited my HOSTS file to block the servers that deliver most traps and pop up/ads in general....
I use Mozilla Firefox, too. The sites that I need pop-ups on, you can just go into the preferences and allow them. It's really easy and the browser is great. Much better than IE.
