I'm in the process of reorganizing and may upgrade my desk setup, which means probably ripping the legs off my current desk and slapping a bigger piece of wood/plastic on them. Basically, my biggest complaint right now is that it feels very cramped. Using the laptop and the PC simultaneously happens fairly often. And working on homework with 2 textbooks, a notebook, and a couple pieces of paper becomes rather cumbersome. It also just looks disorganized (when it's been cleaned), even though exposed cables are fairly minimal.

Anyways, post your own computer/desk/office setup and feel free to critique mine. Sorry about the poor image quality - I was too lazy to use a real camera.

It's a bit of a mess right now, obviously. The center monitor is a 30"-er.

What monitor mount are you using?

The first version of this one.

Only a few differences to the v2 they are currently selling.

My desk is a bit crowded at the moment.

I wouldn't normally have the Mac Mini there, however I'm saving all the DVDs in the house to a disk so we can get rid of them all and free up some space. Handbrake seems to work much better for Mac, and it doesn't waste processing power on my PC.

Sorry for the crap exposure in some pics.

If I had to change stuff, I would like more modern monitors and my cable management could use some work, my desk is super old and could use an update at some point too.

[/quote] Get the cables (and especially the power strip) out from where your feet sit under the desk - that would be a start. The desk IMO is fine. I think I have an old laptop sitting in a closet somewhere I might mail your way. Though it'd be an upgrade, I'm pretty sure the shipping cost would be greater than the value of the computer itself.

Also, most of you are making me very claustrophobic.
