:bawl: It's sad to see all our money we spent on these wonderful cards a year ago are now almost obsolete. Well, I guess not obsolete, but seem like they're nothing compared to the new high. :( The technological age advances fast... almost too fast...

Heh, got my card back in November, so I got mine kinda late in production, but it's still at $385 for the Platinum edition. I have no idea what difference that is from the original, other than like... $100

EDIT: Nvm, just looked it up, a few differences, do't know if it's worth the price at all. Memory Clock Speed is 50 MHz higher, Engine Clock Speed is 20 MHz higher, Pixel Fillrate is 8.6 Gpixels instead of 8.32 Gpixels, Geometry Rate is 810 MTriangles instead of 780. And according to ati.com, the Platinum edition has dual DVI-I and the XT has one DVI-I and one VGA. But my XT has dual DVI-I, so I dunno. Other than that, they're the same. So it's $100 for small upgrades, is it worth it? Not in my eyes.
