Hey guys. Is it possible to remove the illegal characters \, /, :, *, ?, ", <, >, and | for Windows XP? I looked all over and I haven't found anything.

No, there isn't. That's a limitation of how Windows handles filenames.

They're used for stuff in the OS, so even if you could it would be a seriously bad idea.
