My new camera is going through the batteries every ten minutes or so. Is this normal? If it is it's going to be a pain when I am in France for twelve days, I'll have to bring around eighty batteries with me. :n0e:

Get some nickel-cadmium-metal-hybrid-rechargeables batteries. They last for several hundred pictures and can be recharged in several hours. They are not exactly cheap, but you will save lots of money anyway. I tried normal batteries too for a while, but they didn't last for a tenth of the time :)

Sorry people, I forgot to read the fine print that says that the included Ni-MH batteries come discharged. I recharged them and now it is working just fine. Sorry about that...
