Ok I just bought a new pc and it has all this poo I dont want or need, like aol etc etc. When I go to Program, uninstall. I dont see this crap. Have any ideas what Iam doing wrong, Iam betting its easy and Iam just over looking somthing.

And so far, this Vista rocks.

Not sure where it is under Vista, but under XP you'd want to use the Add/Remove Programs option under the Control Panel; not the Programs list in the Start menu.

I did that, none of that is on the list in uninstall programs, in vista you go to control panel then go to uninstall programs. All that junk stuff is not on the list thou. Oh well, work on it more friday

Hell, I don't even know if Vista has a 'program files' folder, but if it does, you can probably find every application, and the uninstaller for that application there.

That really sucks big time that you can't remove all that extra crap from the add/remove programs window.

Found the program folders. Now in my welcome center it shows them as still being there untill I click them and it says, that it cannot find that program in c: program etc etc.. And I still cant figure out how to refresh that welcome center page.

The chance of her actually having a proper Windows disc with a new computer is around 0. No doubt she'll have a recovery partition or disc, but that will restore it to factory settings - including all the crap she doesn't want.

Ok then i guess she could beg the place she bought it off for the windows disk, its worth a try.
