AmySue;3515885Found the program folders. Now in my welcome center it shows them as still being there untill I click them and it says, that it cannot find that program in c: program etc etc.. And I still cant figure out how to refresh that welcome center page.

If you just deleted the program file folder it will still think the file is there.

Try deleting from the welcome center? I don't have Vista so I'm not entirely sure. F5 is the shortcut to refresh something on Windows.

If it isn't on the list, but on the Program Files list in the C: --> Yada Yada ---> Program Files, I delete it there, then go to the start menu, and if it still shows on the start menu, I just delete it off of there...

captwill;3519627Ok then i guess she could beg the place she bought it off for the windows disk, its worth a try.

And keep on begging. They rarely give those out. The reason being a "bundle discount" or the like. The computer/Windows is cheaper than the retail version because that other stuff is included (they pay for the computer, you get their junk).
