That one talks about Updating and Adding/Installing a new Microprocessor. Did you take a good look over that one?

I also skimmed over the service Manual for you, have you read it? http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/pe1400sc/en/sm/index.htm

Try different Search engines, and Different Tech sites. Thats about all I can think of to tell you to do. Mind telling me your business with this 'dell' Server?

lol.... Well, it was a server, in a friends work, that was hosting company website's, and powered, alot of company computer's, but it was getting old, and they got a new server, called "Dell powervault", and they was about to strip the dell poweredge 1400sc down for part's, but i took it from them lol, hehe,

and, now im just upgrading it, new hard drives, 100gb to 400gb, trying to, find out which cpu, can it use, besides, "Intell pentium III",

and gonna install a new server os, not sure, which to pick, tho

Either windows server 2003:smokin:

or redhat linux:beer:

and that's that.
