I am running Sygate Personal Firewall along with AVG free anti-virus...

Today , starting about 10 minutes ago i have been getting at least 5 notifications from sygate saying that it has blocked "NT Kernal and System". Everytime it gives me a pop up notification and i was wondering if this thing shouldnt be blocked. If it is needed and should NOT be blocked, please tell me how i can manually allow it through my firewall. "Nt Kernal and System's" location is Windows/system32/ntoskrnl.exe so i bet it is an important thing.

Any help, as always, would be appreciated.

Where's it going? If it's loopback or 127.0.0.1 it's probably OK. It don't think it should be making connections to the internet though.

ntoskrnl.exe Is the Core main component in Windows. Generally, I think it is bad for it to connect to the internet. Yet, with the way Windows is designed, it has to.

Sygate's Forum Search Feature is malfunctioning, so I can't find any info. As far as I can tell, it is a bug in Sygate, and it looks like you are going to have to reinstall.
