Well just got done reading the majority of the mobo guide. I think it goes like this, correct me if Im wrong: - Screw it in case - Install CPU, all PSU and power connectors, Optical and hard drives - Close it, power it up and hold delete to enter BIOS and set it up with CD, install drivers - Reset, install windows, when thats done, install all drivers for all parts

But wait, when do I install the graphics card? At the very beginning with the CPU and hard/optical drives and everything right?

Seems easy enough

You should take care to keep yourself grounded during the build, especially while handling the Motherboard and CPU. One little spark of static and it's game over.

Just grab an element and it should be fine. That will "unstatic" you. Do this every 10 minutes or so.. Maybe you got a like bracelet that has a cord in it. Fasten the cord into an element and have the bracelet on you. Maybe this is a bit difficult to understand. As he said. Keep grounded..

Once you get the mobo in, then you install everything, that way BIOS can recognize all the stuff you have.

I usually put anything like a graphics card or PCI card in last (after everything else in installed but before you boot it), but thats just me.

although its crappy fedex, so who knows

At least its not coming with UPS, then you would never get it....

I get UPS faster than anything else. It just depends on when you order it.

Yeah me, too, UPS gets here ALWAYS faster than the day expected.

About being grounded, can I just make this thing on a desk and be totally fine? If not, what's a common material in my house I can use?

I've always heard to touch the PSU for 10 seconds, but I'm not sure if that will work if it's outside the case.

Bah, UPS sucks. They are always late. I've had many, many bad experiences with UPS, i avoid them whenever possible. Now before i take your thread off topic:

Thats fine, just make sure you touch something metal to ground yourself while your working with sensitive parts.

Cool, my case is leaving Orland right now and I live right by Tampa. If it doesnt make it to my doorstep tomorrow, then that is fucking pathetic, but it most likely will get here. I'll let you guys know how the build went
