i dont have an IPOD, but if its similar to my mp3 player.....try this..

you can open the IPOD in My Computer, find all the files you need, and just copy/paste them into the right folder in your Itunes folder. That is how i used to get music from my MP3 player, onto my computer

If there is no image, Mikey broke something...

It would be best to download a program to copy the music over, apple doesn't allow for music to be copied from iPod to iTunes. You need a third party program. Go to ilounge.com, they have some programs for your needs.

Itunes is required to move data to and from Ipods. Just mark the songs you want to move, rightclick and press copy, paste them where you want them save on your computer.. Works on my shuffle.

I don't think its possible to import from iPod to iTunes. I've already tried and lost most my music.

Yes it is.... give me a minute to type (more like 10 minutes) and I'll edit back.

1) Plug it in 2) Go to my computer 3) Browse the iPod 4) Go to Tools > Folder Options > 'View' Tab > check "Show hidden files and folders" 5) A new hidden folder has appeard on your iPod, click it 6) Go to the music folder 7) There are a bunch of folders called 'F1', 'F2', 'F3'... etc. These contain the music files, however they are all renamed to a combination of 4 random letters 8) Copy all of them into a folder on your computer, and add them to iTunes 9) Set this folder as your default music folder in iTunes 10) Set iTunes to automatically arrange and rename files in the default music folder

There you go. Complicated, but it works.
