I have an old Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB joystick, however, I notice there is a problem with one of the axis. Maybe it was never configured correctly or isn't supported on XP, I'm not sure, but this problem was one of the reasons I haven't played a flight simulator in so long. Very irritating.

But, I think I may get BF2 some time, and it would be nice to have a good joystick, maybe for some other games as well. I know you can use the mouse, but still...

Is this Saitek ST90 any good?

I really don't want to pay any more than $30 if I can help it, unless that guarantees that it will be crap(you get what you pay for[?]).

Thanks,

LC

I personally like Logitech, and Here is one that i highly recommend Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick it is what i got recently at a deal price for $27 it is a good all-around stick, comfortable to hold, or it can be placed on a table or desk. It performed exceptionally for me.

That is good, did you want one force feedback, and a joystick specifically?

Would be cool I guess, but that's not important, no.

I just want one that works. :D

The problem with mine now is that it seems to lean forward or something, even when it appears to be at rest in center position.

I tried using the Windows Joystick calibration wizard but it hasn't worked. Although admittedly I used the FSX one, maybe it has to be the setting in Control Panel. I'll try that next. EDIT: Tried it, same as the FSX options. Have yet to play it tho, I'll describe if it did anything or not.

Anyway, sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm still looking. Maybe I could also ask about the problems I'm having with the one I already own.

EDIT: Also, I need one that can be configured for left handers (because I'm left handed :p).

Thanks
