I was going to make a video using clips from bandofbrothers. I have it on DVD and i've played it on my PC before, but what can i use to recording certain bit's on it, or take certain chunks of the film out. If anybody knows if any good programs i can use for this i would really appreciate any suggestions.

Are we allowed to discuss this? Everytime someone asks I get slightly apprehensive....

Convert it to mpg via a converter (there are tons online, just search the goog.) Then just use WMM. Simple, and free.

Sorry guys, but ripping DVD clips = violation of the copy protection used on most DVDs. We don't discuss such activities here.
