How many of you WILL use these new quad-cores, and how many using Core 2 Quad/Extreme?

In the not to distant future, I see myself upgrading to a Core 2 Duo.

But what does this have to do with the release date of AMD's new processor?

I will see if the performance is up to speed before spending my hard earned cash. TBH although a x2 3800 is hardly cutting edge is doesnt struggle at all and excells at everything i throw at it so i probably wont upgrade for a while yet.

Just out of curriosity, can you put a core 2 duo in a 939 slot or does it take a completely different Motherboard?
