If there's nothing wrong with it, then there's probably no need to upgrade.

If you want to get a new one, how much are you willing to spend? Are your wireless devices compatible with 802.11n or are they all limited to wireless-g?

Assuming you want wireless-N and nothing too cheap, the Linksys E3000 has been keeping me happy for a few months now:

Newegg.com - LINKSYS E3000 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4GHz / 5GHz simultaneous Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Router up to 300Mbps with USB Built-in UPnP AV Media Server

When you say "connection speeds", are you referring to your internet download/upload rates, or your connection to the local network?

Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

If that tells you that you're getting below the speed you're paying for, then it's an issue with your ISP (or something between them and you).

Uh... is it broken or acting up? My router is only a year old (*just* out of warranty! *shakes fist in the general direction of NETGEAR*), and I have to reset it every day or laptops cant connect. If yours is fine then keep it.
