My Broadband seems fine when I'm just on the internet but when I go online with games its a different matter. Espescially on steam I get about 30 servers for cs  call of duty I sometimes get 10 if I'm lucky and on battlefield 2 I get about 30 too. Then when I eventually join a server I have to stay on that one because if I disconnect back to the server select screen it lags out and all the server names turn to ip addresses so I have to wait about 5 minutes and then join.  Is it something to do with my router or something because its pissing me off now  . Pleaaaaaase help me.

Whats your ISP? Have you tried connecting to the internet without the router?

Well, if you have a router take out the ethernet cable that connects your modem to your router. Run the cable from the modem straight to your computer. By the way, what speed broadband do you have?
