Well, it seems I "may" by tomorrow, come to the conclusion that I'm gonna' sell my PC and get back into console gaming. For me PC gaming has been too frustrating and too stressful so I said why not get a PS3? Hey, its got Blu-Ray, Killzone 2, GT 5, Little Big Planet, Motorstorm, Metal Gear Solid, HOME, etc.

So back to the "TOPIC", I bought all the parts and built this computer from the ground up...And the final price was I believe $1,186.00. And now I'm going to sell every part to different people or the same. So if your interested please POST here or PM me. BTW, I'm not sure if you can sell all this stuff used like the processor? Please quote that question if you know the answer.

My specs are as follows... Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 (1GB) | AMD Phenom II 940 (3.0GHz) | G.Skill 1000 4GB RAM | Hitachi 1TB 7200 RPM | Hanns.G 221DPB 22" | Antec 300 | XIGMATEK 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler | HP Gaming Mouse with VooDoo DNA | Razer Lycoso Gaming Keyboard | OCZ 600W PSU | Samsung 22X DVD Burner | ASUS M3A78-T

Thanks! Oh yeah, I don't think I will sell my monitor just yet...Or I may not ever sell it (IDK).

If you would like to see the price of all these items (I got most of them off NewEgg some may be from other stores because I got those there), well then here they are...

Well. That 9,000 page thread seems like a bit of wasted effort, in retrospect.

Yes you can sell everything in your rig, and YGPM regarding HD/ RAM.

Alsooo. Are buy/ sell threads legit on FF? If so you might want to make a sub-forum in tech for buying/ selling. Im always selling stuff =D

That's not a bad idea, actually. We don't have any policies against it, at least not that I know of.

I'll bring it up with the reds; maybe a Marketplace forum would be good here. NBR has a pretty successful one; I've sold several items there. I've got a few laptop parts I'm looking to sell anyway, although this forum isn't a huge laptop crowd.

How much would you want for that M3A78-T?

I'd suggest some rules in place for it, such as having an ISP registed email, etc. and only being accessible to certain people after a set of guidelines is met.

Yes, but rather than make a dig at you Yellowboy, I just want to say that I meant no harm in what I said in the past about it. In fact it's a sad day when any fellow gamer gives up on his/her first PC build.

I was hoping that long winded pep talk I just tried to offer on the other thread might help you change your mind or at least stick it out a few more months to try and do some tweaking for better performance.

If we cannot change your mind though, I have a couple suggestions on the change over. Keep all the receipts if you have them and mention it in the sale. It can make a huge difference to the purchaser as lots of parts should have a 3 yr warranty.

Also, I would consider the latest incarnation of the 360 vs the PS3. Most are saying the majority of games that come out on both look better on the 360. A neighbor of mine was dead set on getting a 360. He changed his mind on a whim and got a PS3. He is disappointed at how the games look on it though. Granted the PS3 has a built in Blu-ray player, but Blu-ray players are pretty affordable anymore.

Naturally. NBR has a pretty good system, actually. Check out forum.notebookreview.com, the Marketplace section.

You have to have so many posts and have been registered for a month, I think, in order to buy/sell, if you're selling, you have to have a photo of your actual item with your username written somewhere in the camera shot.

I prefer the rules on OCF. It would also be best if people kept heatware as well. I could see a classifieds doing well here.

Are you honestly planning to sell those for MSRP?

As for the marketplace forum, I don't think we have enough need for it here, to be honest. Most of us simply do not have enough hardware going through our hands on a regular basis to justify doing this. This is a forum designed primarily for gamers, and while it does attract a fair share of hardware enthusiasts, I don't think that we have enough such people, like OCF does, for this marketplace forum to have any significant traffic.
