As I have been playing the Crysis demo, I have seen that one a Geforce 6150, Crysis is quite slow. I made sure that the graphics were at the lowest, but I still maintained an FPS of about 5-6 when near or in a forest and an FPS of about 13-15 when on a beach. So, I decreased the overall resolution or my screen and it made a fairly good improvement. The only drawback is that I want the resolution to only be at the lowest on my user... there are about 3 other people who use this computer and they would not at all like having the resolution at it's lowest.
The desktop resolution shouldn't really affect it; change the resolution setting in-game instead. Then upgrade to something that's actually capable of playing Crysis.
You don't understand... the setting for Crysis are at the lowest. If I reset the screen resolution and play it in the windowed mode, it runs faster. I just want to know if there is a way to set it so that one user has a different screen resolution.
Well of course I didn't understand. You didn't actually say anything about running it in windowed mode in your first post!
Anyway, Windows is designed like that (for some reason...I've no idea why) so as far as I know there's no way to set the resolution for just one user within Windows. I don't think other programs will be able to do it either; from what I've seen all they do is make it more convenient to change the resolution (through a taskbar icon or something similar).
Simple answer: change it back when you're done. It takes all of, what, 5 clicks to do?
