Some of the stuff is pretty outdated (e.g. you've got 'Mozilla Firebird', which has been renamed Firefox for over two years).

Good list anyway. We've got a list like this in the Knowledge Base too, which is categorised.

EDIT: Can a moderator please remove the Bit Torrent stuff when they see this. Cheerz.

:don:

Remember, everyone - discussion of or links to Torrent or P2P applications are not permitted.

Other than that, good list. I wouldn't recommend StarDock or WindowBlinds though, they're quite unstable and use up far too much memory. Uxtheme.dll patcher for the win.

Thats a good list, but I already have a lot of stuff that's on there, so its not much use to me.

Just a thought: Is this suitable for Tech Discussion?

Rookie_42:don:
Thanks.
Other than that, good list. I wouldn't recommend StarDock or WindowBlinds though, they're quite unstable and use up far too much memory. Uxtheme.dll patcher for the win.

I agree. WindoBlinds is a waste of money unless you plan on making a theme yourself. That DLL patcher replaces the Windows file responsible for locking you out of making your own themes for XP, meaning you have to run the patcher tool to allow you to do so. It uses much less memory than WindowBlinds, which simply reskins each window as it opens (rather than changing the original styling used).

For IM software, I've had very good luck with GAIM. Lots of options and things. It's handy for me because I only have to run one program to access all my accounts (YIM, AIM, MSN) instead of three.

Alright, this is the last time I'm saying this - if anyone else posts Torrent/P2P applications in this thread then it will be closed. Fin.
