So i decided to go with the macbook pro i discussed on this forum a while ago and as soon as i have saved enough il go and grab it.
Im just wonderin whether when i get my new mac notebook if i can do a fresh install of xp on my old one, even though i didnt come with a copy of xp on disc (i.e preinstalled) I was thinkin that maybe i could just use the xp disc from my old desktop computer and just use the xp serial number from my laptop.
Also, im considering gettin a copy of BF:2142 for mac. However, id only want it if i'd be able to play the mods available for 2142 using my mac version aswell. Forgive my ignorance but im not entirely sure whether this is entirely possible. Is it?
Window - It has to be the exact same version. Don't you have a recovery CD or partition on the laptop that you can install from?
BF2142 - I don't know, but I can't see why not. What's changed is how BF2142 works with the OS, not how BF2142 works with itself.
BF2142 mods should work i would think, all the game files and directorys should be the same except for the .exe being rewrote for OSX code.
