I need a recommendation for this video card. What power supply should I get to run this at it's full potential.

Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P2-N756-TR GeForce 8600GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

500 Watt Plus Power Supply, Desktop Power Supply at TigerDirect.com

One of those power supplies would be good. ^

Sgt. D. Pilla;4238412OCZ OCZ500SXS StealthXStream 500-Watt Power Supply - SATA Ready, PCI-Express Ready at TigerDirect.com

Corsair VX550W 550W ATX Power Supply - SLI-Ready, SATA-Ready CMPSU-550VX at TigerDirect.com

Either of them are the only brand name's I'd trust, and they are nice and cheap, and will do a great job with that GPU

Thanks. That's all I needed.

Yea but I still don't wanna pay $84 for that. I'm on a budget.

go for a 8800gs instead of a 8600gt. The normal clocked one is130$ after rebate.

The 8600GT is only $80 after rebate. I just want something decent. I wanna get my nVidia GeForce 6150LE outta here!

The 8600 series is a joke these days, either wait until you can afford a 8800 card or get this and be disappointed

I also have decent specs. I've seen people with this card and decent specs and it doesn't work to bad with most games. I can run BF2, BF2142, MoHaa, and some other semi-old games maxed out very well. It's not like I plan on running Crysis on this thing!

I agree with you, for 50$ more it is worth getting 8800GS instead 8600GT Newegg.com - XFX PVT88SFDF4 GeForce 8800GS 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail
