ok well this doesnt pertain to wow it goes for all games........
i read on the wow site that i should do a sound check so i did and this came up
DirectSound test results: Failure at step 19 (User verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)
that error came from a
"Mono, 8-bit 22khz, from a sound buffer"
and my drivers are upto date :(
think i should go back a few driver updates to fix this? idk what to do
so i guess no help for Logi ??
Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager Sound, Video and Game Controllers
See if anything has a little yellow exclamation mark next to it.
Try a complete reinstall of the drivers, and then see if it works.
unstall my sound drivers>restart> reinstall the newest version??
If that doesn't work, try re-installing DirectX.
It's a stop error. Your card is in-compatible with something. Driver related, could even be hardware related.
Just do what the others suggested, if it doesn't fix it. I would suggest replacing it, if you still have warranty.
warrenty lol. its onboard 5.1 dolby surround sound
Asus a7n8x-e delux :( i have a sound card some were around my house
Have you reinstalled the drivers?
