I have a problem. Yesterday afternoon my sister was burning cds and the sound stopped, everythign I've tried has failed. I looked at the rules and attempted to post my system specs. But everytime I copied and pasted it. It appeared as though I didn't. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some basic solutions that are the most common. I've already tried using spybot, my adaware dosean't work properly and I already tried using Volume Control. I would really appreciate some help.

Did you check if your sound card device was changed from your default by accident cause sometimes programs change the sound card setting to a different card and you wont hear sound.

Youll find that in Control Panel

yeah check out some of your sound card settings. also try the audio settings, as some of those things could be changed and that screws everything up
