I've jsut gone on to the ATI website to download the latest drivers, and i've gone to this page:http://ati.de/support/drivers/xp/radeonx-xp.html and clicked Display Driver under Option 2, but i click that and i'm taken to this page http://ati.amd.com/online/403/leech.asp. Now i haven't got any download software open, or downloading anything, and recently i've got message like this from RapidShare, saying i'm already downloading something when i'm not. Any help what could be causing this. Thanks
I would say it is possibly adware or spyware. Have you done the norm ? Control/alt/delete and check processes running ? Have you tried to download the other option and still have gotten this message ? Try the Omega drivers from Omegadrivers.net.
What's a norm? I've looked at the processes and i don't know if somethings meant to be there or not. Yes i got the same message when trying download the other option.
P.S.there's something wrong with the forums, when i create threads i can only see the replys, after i have posted
Hmm I don't see too much the point between ATI/AMD and RapidShare ? ... What do you mean by getting a message ? Some pop-up on ATI's website ? Are you trying to download something from rapidshare and getting an error message ? Does your Internet IP change went you restart your modem ? Are you behind a proxy ? ...
Ok .. i tried to download the driver from that secondary link and i got the same message. It has to be something with their site. There are many other sites to get drivers from .. Try another site and see if it works.
Yeah i managed to get it now, thanks But why is bf2 so laggy, i mean the only system things i've done since i last played it was i installed S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but thendefraged my HardDrive, disk clean up then removed S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. So i wonder if the lag is connected to the server, or that it's saturday and lot's of people are playing bf2?
Could be any and all of those or none of those. That is another issue altogether. what are your system specs ? And what server are you trying to join ? How many people are on it at that time ?
