What should i upgrade? i only want to drop no more than 500 bucks and i figure the gfx card will be the thing to get. any suggestions?

You call this LAMO? Are you freaking kidding me! You don't need to upgrade for quite a while.

That system looks pretty good to me. Its a hell of a lot faster than mine is....

If you must upgrade something, make it your graphics card. Heres a few to think about:

Radeon X1950XTX - $409.99 Radeon X1950XT - $269.99 Geforce 7950GT - $279.99 Geforce 7900GT - $262.99

If your willing to spend almost exactly $500 you could get a Geforce 7950GX2 i think, or for $460 you could get a DX10 Geforce 8800GTS. It all depends how much you want to spend, all the cards i listed will be a big improvement over a 7600GS. Personally, i would either get a X1950XT or the 7950GT, they are not highly priced for the performance.

psht, its not dual core....

So? That 4000+ is still a very powerful CPU, it tops anything from the P4 line easily.

Save your money.

Your next upgrade should be when ATi releases its new video card series, or when Nvidia offers lower prices/different versions of their 8000 series.
