AMD, no contest, the extra ram wont make to much of a difference, you only really need a gig plus you get a monitor and stuff. Definantly go for the AMD
but wat about the fact that the p4 has DDR533 or PC4300, wouldnt that make much of a differance?
not enough, the AMD is still much better, and there is a good moniter plus its a much better deal.
alright, thanks... so i take it into account i will be able to use the AMD for a long time yet?, coz im on a very small budget so it will be a big investment, and im not one of those people hu go out buyin comps every 6 months if ya get me.
yes AMD is much better for gaming, especially the 64 bit series, the intel HT technology chip is better for multitasking on your desktop (like surfing 2 webpages and talking to 5 people on AIM).
ok, thx for ur time :D
AMD unless the p4 is the exterme edition. Also were are you buying from?
Stick with AMD then the only reason why youll want a p4 if its exterme edition
