Microsoft Optical Mouse, WIRELESS MICE ARE CR@ppY 4 Gaming! Microsoft mice have no flaws and i got one for 20 Bucks......a little expensive but worth it......and for a keyboard get one that suits you......keyboards arnt too important in my mind since i am a gamer, but i just like the standard......old ones suck though

ok keyboard really no preference, i went from crap m$ optical mouse to Logitech mx510, and my lord the mouse is worth the money for gaming, if u are a big fps person, this is a must, they also make a mx1000 that is 89.99 and uses laser technology, which is wireless, and is great for gaming, but a little pricey, i would check out the mx510 on newegg, very good mouse.

well i got a logitech mx 1000 a couple of days ago after reading reviews on the web and it is absolutely amazing, the accuracy is way better than my old mouse and the response time is better also, it uses a higher radio frequency that a normal mouse and although the mouse is heavy it doesnt hinder me at all in fact it seems more stable than my old mouse, im using an everglide giganta ray mouse pad as well and that is very smooth and improves accuracy as well i just bought a cheap corded keyboard as they get a good hammering playing fps games

I got this mouse. It is the best mouse i have ever had. I usually kill my mice in about a year but this one will live till 2! You can't go wrong with microsoft for mice. I get great response with this mose and the scroll wheel is great of GF and gaming. As for a keyboard, i got some Cheapo generic brand. Lasted about 8 months now. Don't buy any keyboards from "micro innovations" i had one to repace my Hp keyboard that lasted me 5 years. The pins got bent and fu**ed up my comp so it would not start.

My keyboard is just a cheapo $10 one from kmart, the keys are soft and i think it's much better than the $60 MS one my dad has, and my mouse is a decent wired optical i got for $18, but sometimes spins.

mitch how long does the battery in the mx1000 last from one charge, because i'm thinking of getting one and my friend has a mx700, but his batt only lasts about a day, and i'd prefer not to be leaving it on charge all the time. also if u move it too fast does it lock or spin, this is a problem i've had with every optic mouse i've seen.

i charged the battery 3 days ago and its still got plenty of life, reviews i read stated that i could last over a week, mine is down to half charge already (there is a level indicator on the mouse) so it should last a week i guess, i think the battery is lithium-ion battery similar to a mobile phone battery, there is no cover to open anywhere to change the battery but usually this type of battery lasts for a couple of years so should be no problem. all i can say is BUY ONE!!! you wont be sorry in my opinion
