Anyone tried it?

Curious to get thoughts, cause I really love it.

Downloaded it but don't really see any reason to use it over FireFox.

I tried it, but to be honest I can't really tell much of a difference between the big browsers anymore, at least on PC. I'll probably keep using firefox as I'm used to the interface.

The main benefits of Edge over other Chromium browsers are the smoother font rendering and smooth scrolling, consistent design UX with the rest of Windows 10, better privacy features by default and, the main thing for me, it isn't phoning everything I do home to Google.

These are the Google services that you don't have bloating up the browser with Edge, some of these may be desireable (you can turn on to use Google Store extentions for example, as I do) but most of these are spyware / bloat, some have been replaced with Microsoft equivalents i.e. Ad Blocking / Tracking protection, and the developer / debugging tools.

It also supports ARM64, I believe that Google Chrome does not or if it does not until very recently by taking Microsoft's contributions to the code.

Those may be valid reasons to use it over Chrome (or other Chromium varients) but what are the reasons I should use it over FireFox?

The main benefit I get from Edge is that while I'm playing a game  it's the only browser I've used that, by default, will play Amazon and YouTube videos (most of the time) without stuttering. #FirstWorldProblems

Is that the new Chromium Edge or the original?

Well, mainly the smooth scrolling / fonts / integration with MS services but it may largely be a case of preference.

Original.  Will give the new one a shot though.
