So my family heard about a no need to download virus on Internet Explorer and or Norton Anti-Virus software was out of date. So we got a new one, Sympatico Anti-Virus. I may now go on the internet, with a few problems, one we found how to fix(HTTP 500 Error) the other, I searched Google, with no luck, so I'm now here to ask for YOUR help. Ever since we got the Anti-Virus program, I wasn't able to go on certain sites, I really don't care much about those sites though. The main problem is, I can't check my e-mails! I currently have 8 in my inbox, but as I click the mail icon on my Windows Live page, window(whatever!) I get an HTTP 400 error, it says Bad Request, try Retyping the adress, still didn't work, go back to the previous page, no luck and the last one is go to and look for the information you want. I don't really understand the last one, so I didn't even bother trying anything else. Help is highly appreciated even if it doesn't solve the problem. I jsut really hope it does...:bawl:

This might help. But from what I gathered until now, sympatico is an ISP. But who knows. What email are you using actually?

3.1 Email Bell Canada Internet FAQ - dslreports.com

Still first bets is to check the Anti virus black list.

First, get a good antivirus like Avast.

I've heard of some anti virus software blocking what they think to be bad JavaScript. See if you can disable it. Also, make sure its the antivirus by disabling it and see if you can ready your email.

Thanks for the help, but we called tech support, took about 2 days for them to figure it out but it's fixed now. Apparently once in a blue moon a computer is programed in such a way it brings up errors it shouldn't, I got unlucky enough to get such a computer. Anyway now we have Norton 360 so it's all cool. Thanks anyway.
