I got this really annoying issue with my computer, and I just can't figure out what the /&¤"§!!! (/¤")( is wrong... Whenever I'm on it (well, I don't know if it's doing it when I'm not using it, I seldomly just sit and stare at the screen saver) this USB sound starts playing randomly, you know, the sound it makes when you plug in a usb device, followed by the unplugging sound... It may play the sounds a few times in a row, like plug in twice and unplug once or something like that...(I don't know if this is useful information, just thought it might be) anyways, it's followed by this annoying lag... Just one or two, nothing bad, but it's still annoying like hell when you're working on something... Would someone happen to know what the %()/#/¤&"=?!!¤%() is the problem? Or how I can find out?

Cheers

If by lag you mean your USB mouse or keyboard stops working you probably just have a loose connection or something. Check the plugs for your keyboard/mouse.

Sometimes my mouse disconnects for a second or two (little annoying). Make sure your usb stuff is plugged or just delete the sound files (C:\WINDOWS\Media).

It'd still lag as hell wouldn't it even if I deleted the sound files?
