I wouldn't try using that at school. Your school network is provided for education, not gaming. Frankly, in my opinion you should leave games at home and use the school computers for what they are meant for; furthering your education.

It's questionable if this would work at your school and even if it does, it's certainly not safe to use in the sense that your school's network admin will catch you, and when he does then your going to face the consequences.

I once got caught for playing Pokemon on an emulator. But actually downloading gis of data for Steam on your school pc wont be really tolerated.

Heh. We used to play N64 games on emulators at school all the time. We even used one of the computers to download mass amounts of crap too.

That's only because the network guy didn't know what he was doing though.

Agreed.

I wouldn't really put much stock in this sort of program anyway. I might give it a go if I'm really bothered, but I can't see it helping much. Also, Freyr's right; provided your admin isn't a complete moron he's going to notice all the traffic going to your system - you'll get caught fast.

You're a fool. :)

I could even connect with the main computer at school using my mobile phone. We never d'loaded stuff from it, though.

The PC's at our school are protected from dowloading certain programs, and has sites like TPB blocked. So I don't think you can rely on it that it works, and if it does, you will indeed get caught (if it's not the time you're using it, they'll get you after that).

to be honest I wouldn't trust a program like this. Instead if possible you should be able to set up a VPN or somesuch and use that.
