I am converting 15gigs of video for my 360, it came out to be 60gigs converted, I need ti to fit into 17gigs again, but also need to be able to access them quickly for my 360 when I use it as a media center extender

so...are you asking us how to compress it without changing the file's playability? hmm...you could try and lower it's resolution.

thanks, the one thing is that standard compression(zip, rar) isnt an option as it is not good enough and needs to be accesible through mce
