My friend is gettin an ATI Radeon 9600 and hes wondering if its compatible with his motherboard, an MSI, anyone know?

What kind of MSI does he have? Usually its the interface you want to be most concerned with, make sure the mobo has a PCIExpress slot if the card is PCIE, or AGP -> AGP

Yeah, the brand of the motherboard don't matter. Any MSI, ASUS, ABIT, DFI ect... that has a PCIe slot can use a PCIe card, and any board with a AGP slot can use a AGP card and so forth.

Just tell him to make sure he has a AGP 8X slot.
