ever since getting my new mobo and processor, i have been having to learn more and more things about how to make it work how i want. im still having some strange problems right now and need a bit o' help.

whenever i play CoD, no matter what graphical settings, my video card limits at 91 FPS max. i use Fraps to check this and i hope its correct. it really pisses me off that it wont go ANY higher no matter if i use low or high settings... it also doesnt like recording video off of Fraps... it drops down to 2-4 FPS..but that is another problem for another day.

after i quit playing CoD, my processor idles at a very strange 74 -90 %... and i check the processes and there isnt any using the CPU power.. so i am wondering if this is a glitch or not. it pisses me off to have like 20 services running, and none showing any usage, but the graph shows im running it to hell.

before starting CoD, will CPU idles at 0 - 2%. (usually 0%)

i can get some screen shots if i need to.... be a pain though.

yeah. that was limiting me before.. but now it has to be something else. i am feeling it may be my ATI drivers.. i may uninstall and reinstall them.. or omega drivers, which i have never used before.
